HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
Port Shepstone Precast has been established business since 1990. Johnny Raath, took ownership of PS Precast in 1991. The business was primarily a precast company that erected walling. Johnny grew the operation to such an extent that it has become a diverse concrete manufacturing business. Port Shepstone Precast was the first company on the South Coast to manufacture lintels and suspended precast flooring systems (Developed by Johnny Raath).
The premises was further extended to a second plant and Port Shepstone Precast became a licencee of the Terraforce retaining system. This retaining block system has continued to grow from strength to strength.
We have been the prefered supplier of bricks, blocks, retaining blocks, lintels, suspended flooring, paving bricks (cobble/ bevels/interlockers), kerbing, as well as many other products.
The company continues to erect precast walls as well as the Terraforce retaining wall system.
The business is a family run business and Johnny has done all the maintenance on the machinery, while Guy Osborne (son in law) deals with all the customers, deliveries and quotes.
Jean Osborne (daughter) handles the HR and the Marketing and oversees the Administrative side of the business.
